The Boutique Lounge is a gathering spot for the community. Our space evolves throughout the day to serve you. We’re a unique essentials store by day, an event space by night, and always a community place. Stop in during the day to browse curated gifts and unique essentials for babies, men, and women, including exclusive Mercer Island community-wear. In the evening, gather at the lounge to attend or host an event, class, or meeting. The Boutique Lounge is the welcoming space where the Mercer Island community comes together.

What was the inspiration for starting your business?
“I love to hunt for, and purchase the perfect gift for someone. It is important to me that each gift I give shows the celebrated person that they are understood and appreciated for who they are. I am a planner, I am organized, I love an aesthetically pleasing space and I value health and wellness. So, I created a store that encompasses all of my values.”
Where do you go to find creative ideas or tools for your business?
“Twice a year I travel to the gift show in Dallas. Otherwise, I collect gift and everyday needs ideas from my customers and other boutiques around the county.”
What kind of exciting things can Mercer Island residents expect to see with your business?
“Everyday I work toward creating more awareness around the importance of shopping locally. I promote myself in every way I can, as well and sending my customers to other local shops if I cannot fulfill their need. The Island can look forward to an ever evolving shop that is here to meet their needs.”
What would you like the Mercer Island community to know about the Boutique Lounge?
“I would love for Islanders to continue to spread the word that I am here and ready to serve. We are reachable through most media channels including our full service website, www.miboutiquelounge.com, And, we ship!”
Do you have any incentives or specials coming up?
“There is always a SALE at The Boutique Lounge! And every year we do an early holiday shop around, sale items included.”
What do you think makes the Mercer Island community special?
“The Mercer Island community is unique. We are made up of residents that represent multiple generations within an individual family. Grandparents, children and grandchildren, all on our small little island.”
